Regarding the recent reviews update by Google
According to the Google documentation on reviews update it states, "designed to evaluate articles, blog posts, pages, or similar first-party standalone content with the purpose of providing a recommendation, giving an opinion, or providing analysis."
So one of my client's e-commerce site (makeup niche) has been hit by hard by this update. I wonder what does this have to do with an ecom site? We don't write reviews or do any aff mktg. I have seen my competitors get hit by this update as well. Are you also seeing something like this for your/client's site? What action are you taking on it?
