An old site - plagued by pharma malware

Ive had a regular wordpress site, hosted by GoDaddy for about 7 years. 2 years ago it was struck with pharma malware and my rankings started sinking. I paid someone on Fiverr to fix it and protect it ~250.00 - I watched it carefully for a few months - but didn't do much except plugin updates, as I was growing my 2 other sites.

Now the site has pharma malware again - with 5 new pages and tons of spam links / backlinks.

Anytime I reach out to GoDaddy, they give me zero useful advice and try to sell me security and protection plans. I bought the stupid "plan" and when it happened again I reached out again. And they were like.....Oh.....that doesn't cover ABC...it only covers XYZ.

My question is :

Should I just rebuild the site on a new host?

Rebuild in a staging site?

Or just scrap it and put my content on my other websites?

Because even though that site was alive for 7 years - 5 of the years were good. I had 9 pages ranked in the top 5 positions. I had great SEO for some low competition terms and accounts and directories and all kinds of crap for backlinks. Do any of the previous SEO backlinks still have value?
