Slow/Erratic Indexing - Anyone Else Experiencing Similar Issues?

Is anyone else noticing indexing taking much longer at the moment?

Across several well-established sites (all different TLDs and CMS platforms) I'm finding it is taking weeks sometimes to get content indexed.

Some still indexes quickly, but in general there is a much longer wait for indexing.

Other issues I am noticing include having content index, rank, and then drop in and out of the index (appearing and re-appearing at the same position in the SERPs) every 48-72hrs.

Is anyone else seeing weird things happening like this with Google?
