This story is one I hope ends with a happy ending as I recently spoke with a business owner who runs a local landscaping businesses and hasn't had much success generating any leads. We spoke for a while as he explained his current situation and how he felt his business was on its last legs and he almost thought about just calling it and selling off the equipment he had purchased. This really stuck with me as I felt similar to this at one point in my SEO career as well, where I just couldn't seem to land a client to save my life; however, I reassured him that as long as hes actively working to get better I'll do everything in my power to help him generate leads for his business. He eventually pushed back with the typical "But I've paid for marketing in the past" line and with a little more convincing and some examples of my past clients success we agreed on a payment that fit his business and would grow as he did, but long story short I landed my next SEO client and I'm excited to take on the challenge or helping him build this business from the ground up.
