Would you be concerned if you saw this performance?

My site is 7 months old. I've been doing everything myself, building backlinks, onsite SEO.

I need someone to take a serious look and tell me if I need to hire someone, add more backlinks, write more content, what do I do?

Here is some data according to ahrefs:

*UR = 19 *DR = 9 *Backlinks 33 (21 dofollow) *Referring Domains 26 (20 Dofollow) *Organic Keywords 14 (dropoff from about 2 weeks ago where it was 30)

Ranks for targeted keywords are landscaper <city name> and its variants. Right now they are in the mid to high 20s. They actually regressed for the first time between June and July with the latest data from mid to late July.

A brief overview of my top competitors:

Hundreds of backlinks (200-500), almost all are directory types. The competitors' sites are years old (5-10). They are fairly consistent in their rankings over the past year or so. They have hundreds of ranking keywords but the most important ones (landscaping/landscaper/landscape <town name>) are consistently top 5 or top 10. This is a town of maybe 300k people. ahrefs says the keyword has a difficulty of 10.

Onsite SEO is pretty good. People who do come are staying and browsing. Low bounce rate plus good pages/view stats. I'm concerned about my ranking.

Am I doing anything wrong? Does the data suggest I need to hire someone? Are fluctuations normal or am I plateauing/peaking?
