Advice for a recently overhauled personal website.

Hello! When I was little (like 6 or 7 years old), my dad bought my domain name (samuelhaines.com). I created a little site in an old site-builder, and it sat dormant for almost 10 years. A few weeks ago, I totally redesigned the site from scratch with a goal of making it look good, perform well, and improve my legitimacy online. Google has indexed the changes, but I’m not seeing great rankings. I’m very far back in the list for a search of my name (Sam Haines or Samuel Haines), and searching Sam Haines Lancaster (my hometown) brings me up 2nd, after my LinkedIn page. I know that the site will probably never be outstanding in terms of SEO given that I’m not a super important figure or anything, but I’m wondering if there’s anything important that I’m missing / should do.

For some background, the site does great on PageSpeed Insights (usually 95% or more), and I’ve tried to build as many back links as I can through other sites, social media, etc.
