Google News Approved Sites: Generation 1 vs Generation 2
Google News Approved Sites are very powerful when used properly.
I have a question for everyone. What differences have you noticed between Generation 1 and Generation 2 websites, since Google made it an easier process to get your site accepted.
For SEO, the changes I've noticed:
Generation 1 sites:
1- They get better placement in the Google News search index
2- Less likely to bounce out of search index positioning
3- Get indexation immediately in Google search & News search
4- Get far better results in terms of User interaction / ROI
Generation 2 sites:
1 - Get indexed quite slow
2 - Yes they get listed, but many just disappear from search in less than 24 hours
3- A lot of Ai content and non-English native content , so these sites I see being offered many times = super lower retention
Anyone else care to share?
