As the title reads, my website has a time to first byte on some pages of over 10 seconds, it also takes another 5 seconds to load the content once all is said and done.

Is this a problem anyone else has encountered before? We have considered switching hosting plans, we are on Heart internets reseller package at the moment but don't want to go through all the hassle just for it to be something else.

This is pretty much site wide as well, some pages are naturally better than others but no page is below 4 seconds when it comes to TTFB. I have read you want TTFB to be between 100ms and 500ms which we are obviously massively far off from doing.

The site is Gzipped which I have been told might increase times but outside of that I am not sure why it is taking so long for the server to connect, it isn't that big of a site as well so traffic definitely isn't an issue (I almost wish it was haha)
