How can I exclude a url from a wildcard 301 Redirrect

Hi guys, please I tried doing a wildcard redirect for my entire domain. But I'll like to exclude the sitemap page so that the crawlers can detect the redirects faster.

Here is what my htaccess instruction looks like:

RewriteEngine on

RewriteRule ^(.*)$ https-:-//-ww-w.n-ewurl/$1 [R=301,L]

What am I getting wrong, what do I add please?
