I Need Some Guidance For A Beginner

So Ive been studying a bit of SEO since I want to become a full-time blogger but there is a problem that has me thinking with what to do. If I continue learning the way I am which is non visually and I don't take action the gap between knowledge and action will get bigger and bigger and will result in some sort of negative emotion. I was thinking way before about creating a free website not a paid one (because in my country credit/debit card regulations are a bit different). I also feel a bit negative about creating a site for the following reasons:

1.I will restart my laptop later on so its sole focus is blogging. Even though I have a few non-blogging related stuff and I can just delete it, I feel more comfortable factory resetting it.

1. I have been care-free and have been entering various sites without verifying if there safe in fact this month I've encountered some sites with malware . It most likely will result in malware at same point. This will result in my information being stolen which I'm guessing would also include the site.

2. Let say I create a blog and it is somewhat succesful then Ill have to abandon it anyway since I'd reset my laptop. Which would strike me.

What does everyone recommend? I was thinking on a Wix site but these thoughts strike me. Someone please help!
