SEO Toolkit - What would you recommend?

Which tools do you use for SEO? Which would recommend to someone setting up for the first time? What do they need to track rank for terms, optimise their site, do keyword research and build backlinks?
I was looking at SEMRush, Moz and Ubersuggest, but what else do you think is a staple and can get you say 80% of everything you need?
