Product Setup On Website

So a unique question I have not found a solid answer for. We are looking at this in both a smart shopping campaign setup and SEO/user experience and so on.

We have 1500 products on our eCommerce store. All brands we are autorhised to sell. Not dropshipping.

Many of them have a single item with a valid upc. However we offer 2 packs, 3 packs and case packs. These are multipacks with no valid upc.

Using Shopify if we put them in a variation listing with the same UPC Google Merchant center often flags them as price miss match - crawl.

Would it be better to separate them to unique product pages with the single pack having a UPC and the multi packs listed as “custom item” no upc.

We originally merged them all to lessen our duplicated content on our site but now many as saying this isn’t a concern when you have products. More so for blog content. We also have customized category pages which are ranking better anyway.

We are looking at this in terms of optimizing our product feed, our SEO approach and shipping flow for customers.
