Backlinks that appeared out of NOWHERE

Hey all,

I just relaunched my shop. I'm in the process of creating content and getting backlinks for it. I pay particular attention to only get backlinks through organic channels. However last week these random backlinks started to appear. Most are from India (domains with .in) and I have no idea how my site ended up there.

When I check em out, they seem to be domain database type of sites. Directories, but really really bad ones.

How can my site end up in these directories if I never submit it?
