Pages google crawl to get ranked

what is the actual pages of your website do you want and need google to crawl I was wondering what is the actual pages of your website do you want and need google to crawl as i have 195 pages with low content but that comes from filter pages do i stop google looking at filter pages would this be better for my SEO and would that help me rank for the actual product pages?
