Are these proper steps to minimize SEO damage when replacing a webpage?
1) Unpublish page 2) Create redirect to new page 3) Ask google to crawl both pages
I’m assuming once google crawls a 404 it will unindex. Im using Shopify. Not a SEO expert so sorry if my question is dumb.
