Starting a blog

Hi guys,

I bought a theme for my wp website and i want to use a pre built layout that comes with it, the problem is that i dont have enough blog posts to fill all the Blocks, but i would like to start publishing my articles as soon as possible for Ranking reasons. Im very noob on this. What should i do? Remove the template and Just post the articles or wait till have more content although will take a lot of time....
