Multi-language SEO with multiple TLD's using Domain Framing bad for SEO?

Hello there,

I need to set up the same website in multiple languages with their according TLD's. Same content and website, just a different language. As this project will be highly local per domain, I do need the different TLD's.

To make it easy to make changes to all the websites at once, I'd like to use a WordPress plugin like WPML. The only thing is that this plugin sets up these different domains using 'domain Framing'.

I've read domain framing is bad for SEO. What do you SEO's think about a set up like this? Keeping in mind that it's absolutely necessary to have the local TLD per language, and I want to prevent having 5 WordPress websites to make changes 5 times for every little website update.
