Can the reviews section be considered as duplicate content?

Hello I would like to share the same customer reviews on almost similar products.

I would like to know if it can be considered as duplicate content if it represents the majority of the text on the pages.

I see some sites that rank very well by doing this on their product pages but I would like to know how google reacts to this.
