Agencies all claim 6 months to see results. But you can see changes on SEMrush within days.

Just something I’ve noticed. I know SEO is a long term game but no one seems prepared to say they can have an immediate effect. Everyone is like it will take 6 months to start seeing changes, and as many as 12 to make a measurable increase to the business.

Yet when I create targeted content or change an established page, notify search console, I typically see a bump in positions in SEMrush the same week. Reasonably competitive terms too.

Is this just agencies covering their ass?
