theglobe.net spam help

Hi there, has anyone been able to get on top of the spammy links that theglobe.net creates into low ranking websites? I have been reading many posts about this site, they seem to have hundreds of domain names, they create hundreds if not thousands of links into a low ranking website which gives them a really bad DR, then trying to have the links removed they don't reply, won't do anything about it. I have been asking them to remove links pointing to our sites since 2015 and never had one reply, even after offering to pay to have them removed. My assumption is that someone (competitor) has paid for the spammy links to be added to our site and since then not able to have them removed.
