Expected SEO traffic trajectory of a new site

What sort of trajectory do you expect to see across a brand new site for organic traffic over the first year?

I know the answer is 'it depends' on so many things, but I'd like to gauge a ballpark based on an average new site with a moderate SEO plan.

My breakdown of how I feel it maps out month to month is:

• 1: Nothing maybe an impression or two
• 2 to 3: No significant traffic, peaks of impressions and clicks as Google tests the waters.
• 4 to 6: Low stabilising traffic
• 6 to 9: Growth phase & impressive gains
• 10+: Steady growth

Does this feel like your experience? I want to get a sense of how on the mark I am or not.
