Does ranking up long tail keyword that has no volume helps main keyword rank up?

Hi, let's say...

Main keyword that I originally want to rank up (let's say it has more than 100 volume):

"marketing strategy"

Long tail keyword of it (let's say it shows no volume according to ubersuggest or semrush or else):

"marketing strategy ways"

If I create 1 articles, which the titles is "marketing strategy ways" with quite long contents inside, then I set title of my main page of domain (let's say domain is "marketingstrategy.com") as "marketing strategy", then can article about "marketing strategy ways" help my domain, "marketingstrategy.com", to rank up for keyword "marketing strategy"?
