My blogs rank but not my product or collection pages

Hello there! I am new to SEO and started an eshop 6 months ago.

I wrote some blog posts and some of them rank and bring traffic but I can not manage my products to get me any traffic.

I can only imagine that the word count of the blog posts has something to do with it, since the products descriptions have less words. Am I wrong? What could be the problem from your experience? Any basic tips for a beginner to get me going?
