Anyone using Yoast News SEO?

Recently started a news website on a new domain. Writing around 3 content pieces a day (300+) words for the past two weeks. But noticing it's taking a least three days for new posts to register on google and google news.

Understand it may be a time issue and as the search engines become more familiar with the site they will crawl it more often, but my question is:

- Are there any tricks to making new posts ping google instantly?

- Has anyone had experience with Yoast News SEO plugin and what are your thoughts?
