Just starting SEO and getting Uneven Traffic

We just started SEO efforts a few months ago (site is http://www.TrackerTen.com). We sell database software. Looking at the traffic I've noticed a very strange pattern - some days the site will get a nice amount of traffic. Other days it gets almost nothing. And this pattern seems to repeat every week, but they days of the week with heavier traffic are random (sometimes weekend, other times weekdays). Is this normal when starting SEO? Obviously the goal is to get higher traffic every day.
