It's odd. I started creating city landing pages 2 months ago. For 6 cities in my province. Only 2 of them have started ranking on Google, and coincidently these 2 cities are the ones nearest to my GMB location. And my GMB address is hidden (I use the area setting, because I do web design).

The thing is, the cities I want to rank for most for are the ones that are a 1 hour drive from me. Do you think your GMB address factors into Google ranking your city landing pages?

Though on the other hand, I see people with low domain authority ranking well for cities that are so far away from where I know they do business from (using the same city landing page method as me).

Maybe I just have to wait longer. But I can't help but notice I'm only beginning to rank for the cities closest to my address. Even though some of my other unranked city pages are higher quality with more unique content.
