Can Low Quality PPC Ads Cause SEO Problems

I recently ran a campaign on my blog with taboola ads. The quality of the traffic is terrible in regards to the bounce rates. The blog is not that old but all my posts are SEO optimised and my theme is fast. However I do know that it can take some time to start getting regular google traffic. But I fear that because of the high bounce rates on taboola ads I could be damaging my SEO. This is because the little traffic I was getting from google is now practically non existent.
