2023 is really confusing to start out.

Hello guys, I am a writer and marketer just starting out. I have been writing poetry and stories in my journals and books, but just during the time of COVID, a friend of mine told me to monetize my skills and give writing a shot.
I spent the whole two years doing research (not completely; I am a college student, so I got busy with other work as well); I completely studied digital marketing; I tried affiliate marketing; I grew three Instagram pages to 15K+ followers; I started two Youtube channels. I know this is not what complete marketing is, but doing these things helped me build an audience and find the gist of how to find your audience and how to do market research.
But it's been a few months since then, and the demographic has completely changed since then, and after the advent of artificial intelligence, it's even harder to find your voice. But I am still planning to start out my digital marketing journey right now, in 2023, but I lack knowledge and real working experience for someone other than myself. I learned other skills like graphic design, SEO, copywriting, video editing, and content creation to make myself more marketable, but I just don't know where to start or whom to approach. As I have a non-existent portfolio and no experience, I just don't know where to start.
So I just came here to seek guidance and help and to know about your experiences starting and what your plan of action would be if you were in my shoes in 2023.
