GMB Not Updating My Services?

My company is rebranding.

We started as a painting company and now we are a construction company after finally getting licensed.

We changed our name

We changed our business category from Painting company to construction company

We changed our services from painting services as well to different construction services

We also changed from a service area business to a physical location in a big city 30 minutes away. I rented a coworking space to send the post card to and am awaiting the arrival to verify my business again.

My question is:

Why when I updated my business category and services is it still showing up as Painting under services when I changed it to remodeling, roofing, deck, etc?

When I type in “house Painting” I still am showing up on google somehow with my new name and business category but my services are all still for Painting.

I’m not sure how I am even showing up in the first place considering I am awaiting my new verification postcard.

Will my services update once I verify with my new postcard?
