Choosing the Right Keywords and Pages

Hey guys, I posted a question here before and didn't think anyone would pay attention to it. But I ended up finding my answer by searching other posts and reading comments. Now, I'm back with another question on a different topic. I'm a new startup and invested all my money and resources into developing a nice b2b app for IOS (it has not launched yet). But now, I'm in a bit of a predicament because I don't have any money left to hire professionals to do the work I would prefer. I'm desperate to sell my product though, so I've decided to do at least the basic work on my own to see if I can get my website to rank on Google search. I've been looking at my competitors and their pages are so crowded with information that it's giving me a headache. I'm wondering if others feel the same way. So, my question is: is it better to have a few pages with a lot of information or many pages with a few key, important keywords and information? I understand how valuable your time is and certainly appreciate your attention.
