Google Analytics Download Tracking 93 Day Limit

Sorry if this is the wrong subreddit but surely I'll get some GA4 responses I hope.

Anyways, we're using GA4 Exploration Path to track number of downloads on a button with an ID and generate a poorly looking excel file.

The problem is Google won't show us any historic info on this past 93 days.

I know I could use a wordpress plugin but I really want to try to get my hands dirty and do it myself.

What are my options here?
