Do backlinks from niche-related business directories / link farms carry any value?

Hi there,

I run a website about tattoo shops in the Netherlands, and I am trying to expand my backlink profile. I came across a link building service, that can place backlinks to my website on different business directories, such as tattoos.randompage. com

The directories don't have any content, but just link out to each other and many other tattoo shops in the Netherlands.

I think these don't carry much value, but

1. They are in the same niche
2. My competitors have a terrible backlink profile (all spammy foreign links)

Would it be worth it to acquire a few backlinks from similar directories like these?

I think I already now the answer, but I want to double-check :)
