Best practices for Multi-lingual SEO? Start to finish
Looking to translate our website into Spanish and wanted to see if there were any best practices or workflows y'all recommend. We are doing this because of a strong Spanish presence in our market.
Translation Workflow - Likely, we will be starting with just one webpage, as we are trying to recruit some Spanish speaking people. I have found some services like Weglot, which will do it for a monthly fee. But my original idea was to just go through Fiver and pay someone to do the translation. Likely on a google doc where one side of the page in English and the other Spanish, that way i can match up the text and copy and paste it into my site.
Server side vs on page - For some of these larger services, (Weglot) they actually do translation on the server-side. This is apparently Googles best practices. Anyone had luck with this approach vs just doing it on the page?
