How to rebound from site going down for 30 days

Hello,

I created and finished a few websites at the end of 2020 as an exploratory project and after a couple of months I stopped watching them and moved onto other things. At the end 2021, I realized my services had run out so the websites went down. I went back in and checked out their traffic and was surprised to see some of the websites actually did good numbers before going offline in November 2021.

I've since renewed them and I am tracking them more closely. They were offline for about 20 days-a month.

In the months following the renewal they haven't done as well obviously. I am wondering if this would be a permanently bad mistake or if I can eventually crawl back up. I am assuming I can regain good rankings if they stay up and I write new content and do more things with the websites.

Looking for any kind of perspective on this. Obviously I made a silly mistake and I'm willing to put the work back in to get back to where I was!! Thanks
