From 100 views a year to 1k a month, SEO Techniques That Help Generate Traffic

So I wouldn't call myself an SEO expert or "Guru"; however, I have been able to generate some solid results for my clients using a few techniques that I believe can help increase visibility to most if not all websites in some way. I figured it may help some of you if I listed them below and please let me know what you think and any other tips or tricks you may have because at the end of the day I believe if we can all help each other it will go a long way in helping our clients as well

• Adding the use of blog articles dedicated to keyword specific questions and phrases
  • Now I know many people tend to have blog articles on their website but oftentimes when I look at them they tend to be random in nature or not targeted at any specific niche or keywords. One way to increase your search presence or the number of keywords you appear for while driving qualified leads is to target specific industry-related questions with your blogs. For instance, I run a roofing blog for one of my local roofing clients, and often times I'll create blogs around questions such as "What Is Metal Roofing" or "How Much Does A New Roof Cost"
• Create Individual Pages For Services & Locations
  • I've seen many websites that tend to group services or locations with one page and although this may sound like a good idea as it saves time it can actually hurt your website search presence as it can be hard to target specific keywords and phrases for each service or location when you have to stuff them all on one page. Try to create a drop-down menu with individual pages for each service and location to increase visibility and search presence for each keyword as targeting will be much easier.
• Treat Every Page As A Homepage
  • This somewhat piggybacks off of the last tip but it deals more with link building. When I do actually see websites with individual pages many of them don't treat it like the homepage of their website leaving it without links or much content. Treat every back page like your homepage as it has a fair chance of ranking as well. Make sure it has a good amount of unique creative content while also building links to them as well to generate some external SEO power.

These are three quick tips I've used to increase site traffic on top of my other SEO fundamentals. I tried not to write 4 pages of content but I hope this helped some of you out there and feel free to ask questions.
