I have a local web design business and rank on the first between spot 4-5 for 'my city + web design'. Backlink-wise I have a ton of local citations and relevant directories as well as backlinks from other websites I've made. From a backlink perspective - aside from more client websites linking back to my site, I've pretty much exhausted what I can do right now.

At this point I'm so close to the #1 spot. Over the past week I've done some small updates on my site - added a couple service pages and changed wording around on other pages.

I've noticed in doing this.. I'm rising up! I've reached spot #2 on page 1!

Does anyone else notice this? I'm thinking of other ways to update my site that'd have the same effect besides just editing content on pages every weekend. Any ideas? Thanks for the advice in advance!
