Does post and page on Wordpress rank the same in terms of SEO?

Just a question which has been confusing me for the long time.

Wordpress has two things for content creation. Page editor and post editor.

Does both these rank the same for SEO, with the same seo friendly optimization done?

I haven't checked but I think both these editors have different styling options as well (some theme editors will only work on pages only).
