Ranking for Long Tail Geo Keywords

Let's say I want to rank the same article for multiple different countries so I do something like:

How to start an Instagram Page in the US
How to start an Instagram Page in India
How to start an Instagram Page in Australia
.....

All the articles will be basically the same, just maybe some country keywords changed here and there and the header of the article. But I want to create a lot of long-tail keywords that no one is ranking for and rank for those very specific ones. Is this bad SEO practice? Should I take a different approach?
