PSA: If you're doing outreach, please do not use a gmail address.

This has probably been said here before, but you're literally shooting yourself in the foot if you use a gmail address.

I don't know how many enquiries I get a day from gmail addresses asking me about link inclusions, link proposals, buying links that I end up ignoring by virtue that gmail addresses are spammy and unprofessional.

I had a freelancer enquire a total of 3 times before I paid them any attention, mainly because I thought their email was pure spam and they ended up getting shitty at the fact I mentioned this.

Buying a domain and an email hosting service is $30 a year - if you value your time, open rates and closing a deal, please put a little effort in to looking more professional.
