Is it better to have a Pagespeed score in the 90s or have full list of content on a category page.
So I have a bit of a problem.
Scenerio 1
I have category pages that I can easily get a Pagespeed score above 95 if I only load part of the records on page load. Then, if the user scrolls down the page, more records that belong to that category load via ajax.
Scenerio 2
I can load all the records at once for crawlers to crawl but the Pagespeed score suffers into the 80s and 70s. The response time doesn't really suffer because I do a lot of caching of queries. What really lowers the score is the excessive Dom size. Listing all the records along with their thumbs can into the thousands of html elements.
So my question is, Which is better to sacrifice? Pagespeed Score or Displaying the full list of content in a page?
