How would you add affiliate links to a 120-post website that currently has no links?

Hello, my Friends,

My website is 6 months old and starting to get decent traffic with multiple page 1 rankings.

The issue is that the site doesn't currently have any affiliate links.

Now obviously, I want to start monetizing with links.

But I have a few concerns:

1. Will Google penalize my site if I suddenly add 2-10 affiliate links to each of my 120 posts within the space of a couple of weeks?
2. Is adding 2-10 affiliate links per post a bit too much?
3. I also aim to write add around 600 extra words to sell those new affiliate links. Those words will be relevant to the post content. But will the added content affect my rankings despite being relevant?

This is really stressing me out.

I’m very worried that all my hard work might be undone by having all my posts re-ranked!

So would be really cool to see what you guys think.
