How do I make a technical site audit?

I was recently hired as an SEO Specialist but they wanted me to focus on Technical SEO with the responsibility of solving Core Web Vitals related issues of several company owned websites. I have experience with SEO but I am not that really deep into the technical side of it. I don't even know how to code. Please help me to at least start the technical audit..
