Do fake review websites hurt seo?

I often receive emails saying "we reviewed your website" and often their review is just a copied review for a completely different website with completely different focus. So now i get a review for gaming related website talking about how my website does SSL certification.

I believe this could hurt SEO as now google and other search engines connect my website with being SSL certification tool rather than a gaming website.
