Permalink Change - Recrawl old URL or new URL?

I would like to change the permalink for a post to include the keyword I'm targeting. I understand 301 redirects. When I use Search Console to ask that the page is recrawled do I submit the old URL and let the bots find the new URL via the 301 or do I submit the new URL? Which is best?
