Looking for some suggestions on organically ranking a landing page.

As the title suggests I have an existing company site that is B2C (local service provider). Alongside it, I want to run a generic page regarding the industry (on a different domain, not branded to the company) to provide all kinds of valuable information. Blog posts, articles, tips, infographics, and an inquiry form. I don't want to run it as a full fledged website, something more contained.

How well would something so small/isolated rank? It's going to be niche focused to the industry. I'm looking for a good platform, I've used unbounce before but they never ranked well (I never wanted them to) and the 'form' is more of a secondary ordeal to the whole thing. Not a huge fan of WordPress either. Any suggestions on a platform to whip this out in a short amount of time that doesn't require a whole lot of coding? The purpose is to build it up over time, let it resonate, rank, and get some organic traffic going to it, then work on having them convert generic inquiries into a form.
