Is there a way to embed a blog feed from something like Wordpress into a pre-built site and retain the SEO benefits of the blogging?

Title says it all. I currently am working for a real estate company that is not happy with our blog functionality from our web developer. We would like to host a blog on a site like Wordpress and embed it into our separate live site via an RSS feed or something similar.

My question is if we redirected, embedded etc blog content hosted on another site to our main site would we still receive the SEO boost for the live site even though its not technically loaded onto our live site?
