So in my last year of college I was working in a social media/communications based role for a scientific conference. So when I graduated, I figured I might as well apply for roles similar to that and focus on communications work. However, one thing I never had the opportunity to work on is SEO so I often go into job interviews explaining to people "I know what this is but I've never had direct experience with it" and I want to have a better answer. Is there anything I can do to change this and get some experience in it without ever having actually done it in a work setting?
