Whats your favorite local SEO strategy/approach

What is in your opinion, the best (or your favorite) local SEO approach?

Anything out of the ordinary?

I personally start with geo-tagging images, optimizing GMB, then building more citations, doing local link outreach, publishing content revolving around that state or city, and so on.

How do you guys approach local SEO? Im curious to see if anybody has any out of the ordinary approaches.
