When it comes to measuring SEO performance there are so many metrics - website visitors, page query rankings, bounce rates, page sessions, click through rates etc.
What is really the main metric to be measuring?
Wouldn't it just be website visitors?
I don't understand the point of having all the other metrics (unless you are a large organisation with an actual SEO team to optimize SEO) - sure high bounce rates can give an indication that SEO content can be improved, low CTRs can show that the headlines/titles can be improved, but which ones are actually important?
I find this is something that is very common not just in SEO, but in Google Ads or CRM. What is actually worth measuring?
