How often do you test Title Tags and Meta Descriptions on the Homepage? Is it bad to test often?

I've seen mixed answers on this in my research and just wanted to reach out to the community and understand the effects of doing this.

Is there a way to test this without significantly affecting results?

Is testing Biweekly too often for either TT or MD?
